Paramedics

In order to become a paramedic it takes two years. But in order to become a paramedic you have to become an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician). You can also find training that takes up from eight months to four years. Of course it can change depending what state you are in. First to become a paramedic you are suppose to complete lower level training then sign up for specialized paramedic program. Depending what employer employed you, your sheldule may vary. For example if you work for the firefighters department you may work fifty hours a week. If you work for a hospital then you work forty-five to sixty hours a week.
Working as a paramedic you do a lot of bending, kneeling, and heavy lifting. Paramedics work in both kinds of weather. Being a paramedic may also cause you to be under a lot of stress and under crisis situations. This work of being a paramedic is fun but it can also be challenging. To become a paramedic you are suppose to complete anatomy, physiology, electrocardiograpy (ECG), algebra, and tenth grade reading comprehension. You need to have a lot of dedication, a sense of humor, a supportive family, and 1,000 to 10,000 dollars. Depending where you live. For the money it will also depend where you live because maybe you will need less money then that. You shouldn't sign up just because you think it will be fun. Paramedic work is a lot to think about because this job is not to be joking around. Find out just what it is, what you will be doing, and what you are going to sign up for.
Don't think that becoming a paramedic might be a bad job. Just think about it are you really sure you want to dedicate yourself to learning. It is not as much money as you might think but it is not a lot based on other careers. There are tests to complete, training to do , and just two years to to your career. Even though it sounds like becoming a paramedic is hard work, it might be fun after you have finished all your training.
